Hello 2018!


Happy New Year!!

I know it’s been a long time since I posted something, but between school, school and school I just didn’t find the time to write. But now it’s 2018 and I promised myself that I would write a lot more this year.

So first, how was your holiday season?!? It’s the most festive time of the year and I hope you have spend it with friends, family and loved ones. I know I certainly did!

I spend Christmas with my family, we came together on the 24th for a nice dinner and some gift giving. It was a lovely time, it was so much fun! We played Cards against Humanity! 😂 I know it’s not everyones cup of tea but we had the best time ever. Also this is the first year that I have a boyfriend so Christmas nr2 was just a few days later with his family. It was the first time that I met them but they were all so lovely and nice. It instantly felt like home.

New Years eve I celebrated with all my friends, for dinner we went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Antwerp and we stayed there for the afterparty. The food was DELICIOUS!!!! I just love  HRC, the afterparty was also great. My favorite type of music is rock so no beter way than to spend New Years Eve with my friends and the best music ever. It went from the classics like ACDC to the new songs from Ed Sheeran. It was a wonderfull night and one that I will remember forever.

But know I’m sitting here, writing this post and thinking in myself ‘It is already the 6th of Januari!!’ I just can’t believe how fast it is going again. So I thought about what I want to change this year in my life and here are my New Years resolutions:

  • Lose Weight: I know this is probably something that everyone says when the new year begins and yes so did I since 2011, but this year is different. I always wanted to lose weight because I thought that others would like me more, or that boys would notice me and know I know why this resolution always comes back and never worked. That’s because I wasn’t doing it for myself, this year I’m doing it for me. I want to be healthier and fitter and drop a few sizes but just for ME not for anyone else. So if anyone wants to join me on this journey please do and let me now!
  • Spend more time with family and friends: This one is pretty obvious but I just want to spend a lot more time with them because you never know for how long it wil last and in the end they will be the ones that will stick by your side and you can not take that for granted!
  • And last but not least, Enjoy your life!
